It is all golden words on marble as Logic and Will Smith teams up for a record of national awareness which they title “Don’t Be Afraid To Be Different.” Logic whose real name is Sir Robert Bryson Hall II is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and author.
The Gaithersburg, Maryland-native continues to dominate the season with the premiere of his latest project which he titles “Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind.” Made up of 16 songs, the body of work features such industry players as Eminem, YBN Codae, G-Eazy, Gucci Mane, and Wiz Khalifa.
However, Logic looks to have pulled one surprising feature with the support of legendary actor, Will Smith on “Don’t Be Afraid To Be Different.” The Fresh Prince would fail to disappoint as he does the honors of the first verse, proving he’s got some bars left in him with a quick reminder of the first Grammy award for Best Rap Performance.
At the time, the award was presented to DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince (the vocal duo consisting of DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith) for “Parents Just Don’t Understand.” Logic on his part wouldn’t be out-shined on his turf as he plotted the lines and flows on a record that’s about being proud of one’s uniqueness.
“Don’t Be Afraid To Be Different” asides from a celebration of self-confidence and awareness is also one that comes with the old school kinda vibe and production bliss that makes it a bop along. You definitely do not want to pass on this number of belief and strength.
