That Kiana Lede is an overachiever is not a secret. She’s just 22, but she has already distinguished herself as an actress to reckon with and is now breaking grounds as an RnB artiste that knows her onions. Recently. she released her EP, “Myself” and it has already shown the industry a wider view of what this talented young woman is capable of, off screen and when the mic is turned on.
From off that EP, we have a new one titled “Bouncin” and she scored the feature of Migos member, Offset on this one to really add some spice to it.
The “Myself” EP that was released only a few days ago has songs like “Shawty”, “Can I”, “If You Hate Me”, “Heavy”, “Ex” and sees her collaborate with Jenifer Lewis and Offset but there’s something about the “Bouncin” song that just jumps at you and makes the song and the entire EP too a must-hear.
Speaking about the making, Kiana Lede would reveal that even though she wanted it to be on a lighter mood, the emotions that went into making the project helped shape it into something of an empowerment anthem or an affirmation project of some sorts.
According to her: “I couldn’t get my brain to face where I wanted to write about something that was really emotional that day. I was just too close to it in the moment and I was just like, ‘You know what, let’s just fucking write something fun and get our brains off this and not even think.” To listen to this new song, stream and share your comments in the comments section.
