As exciting as the summer has been, the most outstanding part has been the outplay of the Lollapalooza festival and almost everyone is talking about it. Since this year̵7;s start of the music festival, performers have thrilled and stunned fans with their performances and also their surprising collaborations.
Lil Wayne recently killed the show with his own remix of Old Town Road which we̵7;re hoping would be released soon, Chance the Rapper joined Death Cab for Cutie for an amazing performance of Do You Remember. Ariana Grande also performed her newest hit ‘Boyfriend‘ with Social House to the happy screams of festival goers, and 21 Savage and Childish Gambino presented Monster to America.
Also over the weekend, one of the most exciting surprises at Lollapalooza was Denzel Curry and Slowthai̵7;s performance. The audience never expected it, and the screams they let out when Denzel brought Slowthai to the stage showed how much they loved it. The crazy collaboration caused a joyous frenzy within the crowd, and the performance also featured an appearance from a phoney pope.
Funny enough, the surprising performance at Lollapalooza wasn’t their first time performing the unreleased song. They initially debuted the song (which we’re yet to know the title) in March at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. They also performed the song a second time at Glastonbury. The unreleased song might soon get a release date and a title as Curry‘s label Loma Vista posted a clip of the performance to their twitter account with the hashtag #whensthedrop.
