X‘s fans are very angry at a new announcement made by his estate recently, and it’s all for good reason. X’s manager, Sounds Music Group CEO Solomon Sobande, with Empire Vice President Nima Etminan in a report published by Billboard on Aug. 22 announced that the late rapper’s highly anticipated album would be released soon. They further hinted that the new album, Bad Vibes Forever would feature lots of artists including Lil Nas X.
“A lot of records, like ‘School Shooter’ featuring Lil Wayne or ‘Hearteater,’ Jahseh saved for this point in his career when he was more established, so they would be better received. A lot of things he had worked on, almost complete ideas, weren’t finished maybe [they] only had one verse and a hook or only a beat. To fill out those songs, a who’s who of the music industry came out to help us.” said Solomon Sobande adding, “There’s a country song featuring Lil Nas X. One of the most surprising is Blink-182 one of Jah’s favorite bands,”
According to them, the new album would contain many genres and feature a line up of artists including, Lil Wayne Tory Lanez, Mavado, Ky-Mani Marley, Stefflon Don, Vybz Kartel and more. The upcoming album is also mostly produced by John Cunningham with contributions from DJ Carnage and JonFX.
XXX also revealed this before his death, stating that the new album would feature so many genres. He is quoted saying, “It will be a mix of genres you have seen me dabble with, if you are not a fan of me this is not an album for you, it is for core fans only.”
Since the announcement, fans have been furious at the fact that Nas X would feature on the album, mostly because XXX had no idea who he was before he died. Some have tweeted their anger;
“No one knew who Lil Nas X was when XXXTentacion was died. Meaning there is noway X ever knew who this guy was, and now he’s on his album. That’s just not right.”
“these muf**kers put Lil Nas X on xxxtentacion’s next album. gross.”
