Fetty Wap Arrested For Alleged Assault Of Hotel Employees In Las Vegas

American rapper, known for his hit song, Trap Queen was on Sunday, Sept. 1 arrested by the police in Las Vegas. The rapper, reportedly assaulted three hotel employees at the Mirage Hotel and Casino on the Vegas strip. The 28 year old rapper, real name Willie Maxwell is said to have punched a parking attendant while in an argument with him.

Fetty was held by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on three counts of battery. The Associated Press reports that he was arrested following the assault. KTNV Las Vegas also reports that the arrest and charges were confirmed by the Las Vegas police.  was reportedly held on custody for several hours but has since been released. The rapper is scheduled to appear in in October to face three misdemeanor counts of battery. KTNV reports.

Fetty Wap‘s Las Vegas arrest is reportedly not his first arrest. The trap rapper, back in November 2017, was arrested after being caught by police racing another car in New York City. He was charged with DUI. Fetty achieved fame back in 2015 when his hit song, Trap Queen was released. The song was also featured on his self-titled , Fetty Wap. Trap Queen reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and was nominated for two Grammy Awards. 

Fetty Wap recently performed at the MTV Video Music Awards held in Newark, New Jersey. He was also recently in the after friend, cited his issues with his record label being the reason why he hasn’t released new music.
