It’s a big name collab as talented Rwandan singers, Platini, Ziggy 55, Deejay Pius, Safi, Bruce Melody, Charly na Nina, and Gahongayire all team up to release this new song titled “Nimwe” and they all brought their A games on this.
Platini has been doing just fine with the songs and this collab is of course a step in the right direction. For Deejay Pius, the last time we even heard from him, he was teaming up with Ray Signature on “Too Bad” and that was July last year. He has not exactly been heard from since then.
For Ziggy 55, it’s the same thing. Beyond collaborations with Trezzor on “Mon Amour” alongside Urban Boys, the last time we heard a new song from Ziggy 55 was last October when he released “Uwanjye” and teamed up with Danny Vumbi on it. Fans are still waiting for his first song of the year.
Bruce Melody‘s collab on Fik Fameica‘s “Bon Appetit” last December was the last we heard from him. “Blocka” was released by him in October last year and while he is yet to put out a new song this year, this should provide the push he needs to do that.
Mostly, it will appear as if this song is a way of kicking off the year for most of the artistes involved here and most will be expecting to use this as springboard to their own releases later in the year. So, it should not come as a surprise if they come through with their songs later in the year. We recommend listening to this.
