American singer, Bryson Tiller might have dropped his “True to Self” album a month earlier than planned, the album continue to colonize charts and dominate sales. In fact the frenzy and excitement had begun immediately Bryson Tiller had announced he was working on a new album on January 17, 2017.
However, we knew we had a musical gem awaiting once the uber-talented singer dropped “Honey”, “Somethin Tells Me”, and “Get Mine” which featured rapper Young Thug. Plus, once Bryson Tiller dropped “True to Self” on May 26, 2017, the RCA Records sensation immediately started breaking the records.
“True to Self” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 107,000 album-equivalent units and 47,000 copies in the first week. Fantastic numbers for a quintessential music star who was only just unwrapping his second studio album.
It is not evensurprising considering the roll-call of producers that worked on the project including Teddy Walton, Nes, Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, Illmind, Hollywood Hot Sauce, Keyz, Soundz, T-Minus and Wondagurl, and a host of others.
This is why the output comes through as a solid work of musical art; exhalting Bryson Tiller‘s mastercalass and celestial vocals. The sophomore album which packs packs 19 tracks is a blend of Tilller‘s multi-talented sides as he sings and raps; while still making for a stand-up performance overall.
