Pusha T is still reveling in the glory of Kanye West produced singles. The American rapper is obviously still into letting Kanye take the charge on how his music should sound after releasing the critically acclaimed “Daytona” entirely produced by Ye. The rapper hinted that his new album, also set to drop this year, also features production by Kanye West.
While premiering the new song, Coming Home on Beats1 with Ebro, he hinted at the album’s production and said he’s already sitting on 9 songs. When asked if a new album by him should be expected this year he said, “That’s what I’m in here now cooking up,” And when Ebro asks “Will it be an entire Kanye West production?” he replies, “As it stands right now it is” Speaking further about it he said “Listen man, I’m waiting on nothing. I’m chilling. I’m making my album and I’m doing what I do over here.”
Coming Home is Pusha‘s second single this week after Sociopath (also produced by Kanye West). Coming Home is also co-produced by Charlie Heat and Mike Dean and is released via G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam Recordings.
Pusha has also launched The Third Strike Coming Home Campaign alongside Brittany K. Barnett‘s Buried Alive Project and MiAngel Cody‘s The Decarceration Collective. In a press release, the new campaign is an initiative that “aims to free people serving life in prison today under yesterday’s outdated 3 Strikes Drug Law.”
Coming Home is Lauryn Hill‘s first song since 2016’s Rebel/I Find It Hard To Say.
