Wiz Khalifa just wrapped up his tour, Decent Exposure Tour with special guests, French Montana, Playboi Carti, Moneybagg Yo, Chevy Woods and DJ Drama. The American rapper is further pushing the envelope with new releases. Just in the space of one day, the rapper dropped new tracks, I’ll Be Good and Really and Truly.
Khalifa‘s first release, I’ll Be Good samples René & Angela‘s song of the same title released in the 80s. The new track also samples Never Lie ft. Moneybagg Yo. A day later, the rapper dropped Really and Truly a freestyle over a Harry Fraud produced instrumental which samples No Letting Go by Wayne Wonder released in 2003.
Khalifa first gave a preview of I’ll Be Good on Twitter with the caption, “I’ll drop the download link later but y’all smoke to this for now“. In the song, Khalifa raps ” Less talking more in the bank / Bomb weed rolled now pour in the drank / I don’t got to GI in the store cause I’m laced / it don’t even come out but you already late.” Khalifa raps from the beginning of the song after which the sampled I’ll Be Good follows.
The second track, another freestyle is contains G-funk whistles while Khalifa raps his way through the song. He goes,
“If this a race then I finna lap you / In the gym everyday but I ain’t finna scrap you / I’m too high to get violent”
Wiz Khalifa is set to embark on the Asian leg of his tour hitting stops in Japan, Thailand and India. Listen to both tracks below.
